The Lilac Shire has a plastic pan rather than your conventional wheelbarrow, there a many benefits to a plastic pan.
These wheelbarrows are very popular with farmers, horse owners and zoos, as when mucking out a pen the plastic pan will not react with the toxins from the animal waste. The build quality is to the highest standard being British made you can be sure that this Shire will be fine braving our ever changing weather conditions. The frame is covered in protective thick paint creating a rust proof skin. The tubular frame has been designed to take on the hardest of jobs.

Sturdy and colourful.
I have two issues.
Firstly I found securing the frame to the bottom of the pan was easier when done before aligning and securing the pan, support blocks, and the frame.
Secondly, would it not be possible to have screws which can be tightened with a Philips screwdriver or an Allen hex key rather than a Torx screwdriver.
I love this barrow especially the colour. I already had a lovely light wheelbarrow which I bought specially for me because it's light and easy to wheel even when full. Everyone else stole it and the Gardener has taken it over! So I ordered this beautiful lilac one. My husband assembled this, it took longer than we expected because the holes were slightly out, but once done, it's gorgeous and I love it. It's so light and easy and I have a hiding place for it, so I don't intend losing this one. Also it came the very next day after ordering, so impressive. Thank you.
Brilliant - arrived the following day - amazing! My wife filled it with flowers and trailing ivy - it is now proudly displayed in our front garden and MANY people are admiring it. We are thrilled!!!

When the barrow arrived within two to three days the packaging was in good condition. We put it all together within a matter of minute, it is quite stable for a one wheel barrow the bucket is very strong and as it is a hard wheel it goes across my field lovely. Thank you
